About Katiedid Studio ®
Under the trade name Katiedid Studio®, Katie Korroch produces whimsically decorated items for the home. A Michigan native with a life long interest in the arts, Katie graduated from the Western Michigan University School of Music with a Bachelors degree in Music Education. At Western her studies focused on the classical piano.
Katie grew a retail business through direct sales from special orders and by participating in regional art shows, such as Richmond Virginia's renowned Bizarre Bazaar®. While continuing to grow in volume, Katie's work also matured into her signature whimsical designs and bold color combinations.
Eventually, as the retail demand for her work grew, she looked for pieces to feature her designs that had broader appeal and were easier to ship than bulky furniture. That requirement became the inspiration for her present line of saltshakers and pepper mills, wooden bowls and utensils, and picture frames.
Now serving many wholesale customers throughout the United States, Katie creates and tests new designs while she continues to produce her extremely popular line or decorative items.
