Does Katie actually paint every piece? TOP
Yes. Other than priming, sanding, and base coats, Katie does paint and sign each piece individually. Do you charge sales tax? TOP Because Katiedid Studio operates in Virginia, we are required to collect 5% sales tax on orders shipped to a Virginia address. Those who live outside Virginia will not be charged sales tax for their placed on Katiedidstudio.com Do you paint custom orders? TOP Because of the high demand of Katiedid Studio products we limit ourselves to our current designs. We update our designs every year in January Are your products food safe? TOP Yes. Katiedid Studio® wooden bowls and utensils are made from premium hardwood. They are food safe and meant to be used and enjoyed. The painted surface is sealed with a high gloss finish. The unpainted surface has been treated with bee’s oil. How do I care for my wooden bowl? TOP To keep your bowl beautiful for a lifetime of use, hand wash with warm soapy water and hand dry. You may wish to periodically rub your bowl with bee’s oil or mineral oil to bring out the natural grain of the wood. What kind of mechanism is used in your peppermills? TOP Our restaurant quality salt shakers and pepper mills are made of solid wood and a tempered, stainless steel mechanisms with a lifetime warranty. What type of payment do you accept? TOP We accept Mastercard and Visa only. Are the products made upon order? TOP Yes. Our products are hand painted after we receive your order. Therefore you should allow 2-3 weeks before your order arrives. Is this a secure website? TOP

All information is used exclusively for the purpose of filling your order and making your buying experience a success. What if my order is damaged or incorrectly shipped? TOP Claims for damages, defective, or incorrectly shipped items must be made within 5 business days of receipt if we are to accept responsibility of replacement. Return the item(s) to us for a full refund upon receipt by Katiedid Studio (minus shipping costs). We will also be happy to exchange that for another if you wish to do so.
